John has practiced law in Colorado since 1998. After working as an aide for the Honorable Nancy L. Johnson U.S. House of Representatives (CT-6) and for United States Trade Representative Michael Kantor, John started his legal career serving as corporate counsel at Level 3 Communications, LLC where he worked in the corporate, network development, real estate, construction and information technologies groups. He previously worked for the Firm from 2004 to 2006 in our transactions practice, before starting his own law firm in Crested Butte where he served as the Crested Butte Town Attorney for 11 years. John has also served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Cologix, Inc., an international data center company based in Denver, Colorado. He has recently relocated back to the Roaring Fork Valley where his practice focuses primarily on real estate, land use and zoning, development, business transactions, lending, common interests communities, municipal law and construction.
