Jason Buckley 

Jason’s practice centers on a wide variety of litigation matters throughout Colorado state and federal courts. He represents clients in real estate cases, business disputes, construction litigation, mechanics’ lien actions, and landlord/tenant disputes. Prior to joining Garfield & Hecht, Jason worked at the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and the Colorado Division of Real Estate, and he continues to represent real estate brokers in commission disputes and arbitrations. 

Jason maintains a broad bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice, spanning from litigation through collection. Jason is licensed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado and frequently represents creditors and bankruptcy trustees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters. Jason also represents lenders in both public trustee and judicial foreclosures.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jason advises clients in real estate and business transactional matters, including commercial leasing, secured transactions, and real estate transactions. This transactional practice includes representing lenders regarding commercial lending and loan compliance issues.

In keeping with the tradition of a law firm founded in Aspen, Jason enjoys Colorado’s unparalleled variety of outdoor activities, including skiing, fly fishing, and mountain biking.
