Garfield & Hecht, P.C. Attorney Appointed as Coordinating Editor at The Colorado Lawyer
Garfield & Hecht, P.C. attorney Chris Bryan has been named a Coordinating Editor of The Colorado Lawyer. Mr. Bryan edits substantive articles concerning Real Estate Law. Mr. Bryan’s duties in this role entail advising prospective authors of potential article ideas, reviewing prospectuses for works-in-progress, reading and redlining preliminary drafts of articles, proofreading articles, and working with the editorial staff at The Colorado Lawyer regarding publication of articles.
Mr. Bryan has been a frequent contributor to The Colorado Lawyer, which has published five articles that he authored or co-authored. Prior to his appointment as a Coordinating Editor for Real Estate Law, Mr. Bryan served nearly a decade as the Coordinating Editor for the Young Lawyers Division column in The Colorado Lawyer.
Mr. Bryan is a Shareholder in the Litigation Dept. at Garfield & Hecht, P.C.’s Aspen office, where he practices, among other things, real estate litigation. His co-editor at The Colorado Lawyer is Stefanie Sommers, who is an in-house real estate transactional attorney.
Mr. Bryan joins another Garfield & Hecht, P.C. attorney, Mary Elizabeth Geiger, as a Coordinating Editor at The Colorado Lawyer. Ms. Geiger, who has extensive municipal law experience, edits Government Counsel articles for The Colorado Lawyer.
