Experience:
Kelcey’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, business formation and transactions, and estate planning. Her clients include small businesses, start-up companies, real estate developers, private landowners and individuals. Her transactional work is informed by a strong background in litigation and business.
Kelcey maintains the AV Preeminent Rating, Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible rating for both ethical standards and legal ability. She was named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in both 2019 and 2020 (a recognition given to only 2.5% of attorneys in Colorado).
Kelcey was a founding partner at Wood Nichols, LLC in Carbondale, Colorado, and litigated property disputes with the Simons Firm, LLP in New Mexico. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kelcey worked for media-related start-up companies in New York and Colorado. She is a native of Colorado and grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley.
