Experience
Andy, along with Ron Garfield, is a founding partner of Garfield & Hecht, which first opened its doors in 1975. Andy is a shareholder of Garfield & Hecht, which has five locations on the western slope. Andy has represented sellers and buyers of residential and commercial property owners for 40 years.
His practice includes representation of large real estate investment groups, buyers, and sellers in lending and borrowing activities. He has extensive experience in land use matters, seeking governmental approvals for subdivision and planned unit development, and challenging government land use decisions, including the development of a Tom Frazer golf course in Aspen, Colorado.
Community Involvement
Former President of the Board of Dance Aspen, personally, and as a participant with Garfield & Hecht, supports most local charities.
