Christine Gazda

Christine is a litigator in Garfield & Hecht’s Glenwood Springs office. Her practice centers on a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, including business and contract disputes, real estate disputes, construction litigation, mechanic’s lien actions, employment law, landlord/tenant disputes, family law, and appeals. Her litigation practice is supported by a strong transactional background. Christine started at Garfield & Hecht in the firm’s municipal practice group, drafting contracts and other legal documents, preparing ordinances and resolutions, and advising local governments at public meetings. In addition to civil litigation matters and business disputes, Christine still performs litigation work for the firm’s municipal clients.

Prior to joining Garfield & Hecht, Christine worked as an analyst for big banks, providing market analysis and competitive intelligence. During her time at Florida State University College of Law, Christine gained valuable experience in various legal practice areas, such as employment, trademark, and international trade and customs law. She also clerked for Florida Second Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson (Ret.), where she honed her legal research and writing skills.

Christine moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2020 from Florida. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and two pit bulls, and exploring the stunning landscapes of Colorado.
