Christopher L. Silversmith

Christopher L. Silversmith was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami (B.B.A. 2002), where he also minored in Philosophy.  After graduating from college, Christopher pursued business work at a prestigious international school in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC.  During the year he spent in our nation’s capital, he recognized the numerous benefits of having a law degree and moved back to Florida to continue his studies.

During law school, Christopher was a Senior Associate Editor on the Law Review, participated in the National Tax Moot Court competition, and received the School of Law Scholarship for being ranked in the top 10% of his class. Christopher also earned multiple Book Awards in Legal Research and Writing, Contracts, Mediation and Federal Income Tax.

After graduating from law school, Christopher continued on to the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida Levin College of Law (LL.M. 2010).  Christopher joined the firm in March 2024 and concentrates his practice in the area of U.S. Federal taxes with an emphasis on complex estate planning and probate.  In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending time in the mountains with his wife, Stephanie, and their dogs, Nacho and Biscuit.  He also finds time to swim, golf and play tennis.
