CHRISTOPHER D. BRYAN, Associate

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on June 14, 1977. Admitted to Colorado Bar, state, and federal courts in Colorado in 2004. Education: Baylor University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1999); The University of Chicago Law School (J.D., 2003; Cornerstone Scholar 2000-2001). Member of Ninth Judicial District Bar Association, Pitkin County Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, American Bar Association, Faculty of Federal Advocates, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Chris concentrates on civil and commercial litigation, and appellate practice, as well as land use and environmental law.  His practice includes work in all levels of the Colorado state court system as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.  Chris has been continuously engaged in local, state, and national bar activities.  He is the former Chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.  He has served as a member of the Colorado Bar Association's Board of Governors and on the Colorado Bar Association Executive Council.  Reflecting the firm's long-standing commitment to community service and non-profit organizations, Chris is currently a Board member of the Aspen Young Professionals Association and in the past has served as both a member and Vice-President of the Board of Directors of KDNK, a local public radio station.  Chris is a former appointee of the Election Commission for the City of Aspen.  Chris has numerous publications to his credit, some of which are linked elsewhere on this site.
