Paul Wisor awarded co-recipient of the Carlson Prize.
Garfield & Hecht, P.C. is pleased to announce Paul Wisor has been awarded, as co-recipient, the Carlson Prize by the National Association of Bond Attorneys for his contribution to the “Tax-Exempt Financing of Sectarian Institutions Following the Supreme Court’s Decision in Trinity Lutheran Church of Columbia, Inc. v. Comer.” The Carlson Prize may be awarded annually to the authors of the best scholarly article submitted for publication in The Bond Lawyer: The Journal of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, or on the NABL’s website. This is the first time the prize has been awarded since 2012. The article, posted here, originally was published in the Winter 2018 edition of the Municipal Finance Journal (Volume 38, Number 4) and the Summer 2018 edition of the Bond Lawyer (Volume 42, Number 3).
